Material “Quartz Stone”, also known as “Engineered Stone”, is a quartz stone face material. The thick material is made of more than 90% quartz silica sand (Sio2), adding a little gem, ore, glass, lens or metal sheet and polyester resin, colourant, catalyst, etc.

And it is made of high temperature, high pressure and vacuum vibration, and finally a new type of stone made in block.

“Acrylic Solid Surface” is mainly made from ingredients of the thick material are acrylic resin, toner and cyano-alumina, mixed in proportion to the resin surface material of imitation stone made by continuous levelling production.
Common size Its size thickness is 12, 13, 15, 20, 30mm; length × width is 1400, 1500 × 3050, 3200mm. Its size thickness is 3, 6, 8, 10, 12mm; length × width is 760 × 2400, 3050, 3650mm.

Plasticity Its high content of quartz crystals as the main structure makes its texture harder and tighter, and it is not easy to make special shapes, and its plasticity is lower than Acrylic Solid Surface. Acrylic Solid Surface has high plasticity and can be bent and seamlessly connected at a temperature of 105℃
Scratch resistance & long-term use/maintenance The quartz stone material is made of more than 90% natural quartz crystal, so the material is hard, with 7 Mohs scale of mineral hardness or more, and the surface is super wear-resistant. However, due to the low abrasion resistance and temperature resistance of the surface, it is easy to produce scratches and bleed, and regular maintenance must be performed for long-term use.
Heat resistance Its melting point is above 1600°C, so it is particularly heat resistant.

After the surface is treated by water milling, a variety of surface treatments can still be processed. Such as corrugated surface, leather texture surface and pottery surface, etc., these are incomparable with artificial stone.

Due to the use of a large number of natural quartz crystals, it can’t be bent and seamlessly connected. 

In contrast, due to the characteristics of the material, it is still as new after long-term use.

However, for long-term use, it is recommended not to place heat-generating utensils directly on the surface, but to use heat-insulating pads.

Restorative Because of Quartz stone’s hardness, it is not as easy to repair as Acrylic Solid Surface once it is broken. 

Under normal circumstances, quartz stones do not need to be taken care of.
